Buffalo Bills (6-9) Finish Regular Season Versus New England Patriots (12-3)
The Buffalo Bills end the regular season by traveling to face off against the New England Patriots in an AFC East battle. Steve Johnson needs just 36 yards to reach 1,000 yards receiving for the second straight year. CBS will broadcast the game at 1:00 PM ET. Buffalo has a 6-9 overall record and 1-4 division record. New England has the upper hand as a 12 point favorite and has a 12-3 overall record and 4-1 division record. The Patriots suffered a narrow 34-31 loss to the Bills in week three. Ryan Fitzpatrick found the end zone twice on top of completing 27 passes on 40 attempts for 369 yards and two picks.
The Bills enter the game fresh off a 40-14 blowout win over the Broncos. Chris Kelsay finished with nine tackles and two sacks. C.J. Spiller also had a nice game, with 16 carries for 111 yards, reaching the end zone once. The Patriots are coming off a narrow 27-24 win over the Dolphins. Tom Brady scored three times on top of going 27 for 46 for 304 yards and no picks. Another solid outing came from Jerod Mayo, with 13 tackles and two sacks.
Buffalo should anticipate improvement to its passing game as the Patriots' pass defense is ranked last in the league, surrendering an average of 312.2 yards per week.
